Children Safety:
To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for all guests, please adhere to the following guidelines:- Swimming Pool: Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Lake Area: Children should be supervised by an adult when exploring the lake area.
- Pets: Our friendly lodge pets require responsible interaction. Children should always be supervised while playing with them.
- Room Safety: The banisters in our Deluxe and Suite rooms are low. Please avoid leaning or sitting on them. Running in the hallways is prohibited.
- Wildlife: If you encounter unfamiliar insects or animals, please do not touch them and inform a staff member immediately.

Our restaurant offers guests a delightful selection of healthy and traditional Vietnamese meals, prepared with locally sourced and sustainable ingredients.- Breakfast: Fuel your mornings with a delicious breakfast available from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
- Lunch: Enjoy a leisurely lunch experience with a variety of options available from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Dinner: Savor a delectable dinner menu featuring Vietnamese specialties. Please note that dinner orders are taken from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM only.
2. OUR BAR
Unwind and Refresh at Cat Ba Eco Lodge- Enjoy a variety of refreshing drinks at Cat Ba Eco Lodge! We offer a selection of delicious juices, creative cocktails, local beers, and more to quench your thirst.

1. MOTORBIKE RENTAL
- Half Day: Enjoy a half-day rental for 90,000 VND (without gas).
- Full Day: Explore all day with a full-day rental for 180,000 VND (without gas).
- Driving License and Skills Required: For safety reasons, a valid driver's license and safe driving skills are mandatory. Cat Ba Eco Lodge is not liable for any accidents.
- Scooter Condition: Please double-check the scooter's condition before rental. While we outsource rentals for convenience, Cat Ba Eco Lodge cannot guarantee the scooter's quality. If you're not satisfied, we can help you arrange a transfer to Cat Ba Town with a local shuttle bus offering a wider selection of scooters.
- Nighttime Visibility: Be aware that only downtown areas and villages have streetlights. Nighttime rides back to the lodge can be challenging.
- Rental Waiver: Signing a Scooter Rental Waiver Form is mandatory for all rentals.
- National Park: Experience breathtaking ocean and jungle views.
- Gia Luận Ferry Station: Enjoy a quiet countryside ride through farming areas.
- Butterfly Valley: Explore a remote village with scenic landscapes.
2. TAXI
- Cat Ba Eco Lodge - Cat Ba Town: 200,000 - 250,000 VND (4-7 seater car)
- Cat Ba Eco Lodge - National Park: 250,000 - 300,000 VND (4-7 seater car)
- Taxis on Cat Ba Island operate on a fixed rate system (not metered).
- Fares may increase after 10:00 PM (22:00).
- To avoid potential scams, we recommend pre-booking your taxi through our reception to ensure a fair price.

Hotel Terms & Conditions
I. CHECK-IN/ CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES:
Check-in/out Policy:
- Check in: from 14:00;
- Check out: no later than 11:30;
- Early check-in: subject to room availability.
Late check-out policy:
- Late check-out is subject to room availability
- 12:00 to 17:00 check-out: 50% room rate surcharge
- After 17:00 check-out: 100% room rate surcharge
Early arrivals and late departures:
- If your arrival is early in the day and you would like immediate access to your room, we recommend reserving for the prior night. Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access until you leave the hotel.
II. CONVENIENT CHECKOUT:
Throughout your stay, all orders or services will conveniently add these charges to your final bill.
Payment Options:
At checkout, you can settle your bill with your preferred method. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal.
Payment can also be made in cash (USD, EUR, or VND) or via bank transfer.
Please note a processing fee applies:
- 3.1% for credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- 4.1% for PayPal
III. QUIET TIME:
Peaceful Relaxation for All Guests
- To ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay for everyone, we kindly ask that all guests respect the peaceful atmosphere of our residential community. We consider our property a "home away from home" for all our guests, and your cooperation is appreciated.
Quiet Hours:
- To ensure everyone gets a good night's sleep and can relax during the day, we have designated quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please minimize noise levels during these times.
IV. SMOKING POLICY
Cat Ba Eco-Lodge is committed to providing a fresh and healthy environment for all our guests. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any guest rooms, indoor public areas (including the bar and restaurant), or pool areas.
Designated Smoking Area: For the convenience of our smoking and vaping guests, we offer a designated outdoor smoking area. The location of this area will be clearly communicated during the check-in process.

V. PETS
While we understand many guests love traveling with their furry companions, Cat Ba Eco-Lodge is currently unable to accommodate pets in guest rooms due to allergies of some guests.
However, well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome on the property, with the exception of guest rooms. We have designated pet-friendly areas where your pet can rest comfortably, and we can provide information on these areas during check-in.
Please note that all pets must be crated or securely kenneled at night in these designated areas.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you and your furry friend!
VI. BEVERAGES
We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything please let us know immediately - if it's minor we usually won't charge. If it's a larger issue, we would like to agree the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later. Thank you!
